Theme: Interactions of Living Things and their Environment
Objectives:
  • Create a food web illustrating the relationship of organisms in an aquatic habitat.
  • Explore natural habitat and research living things in their natural environment.
  • Utilize iTouch apps while out in nature.
  • Gain a greater understanding of living things and their environment.
  • Set up a well designed investigation.

  1. Macroinvertabrate studies - Researching Stream Health
  2. Square Meter observations in the Meadow - researching biodiversity
  3. Visit to the nature center - terrapin, corn snake, tree frog tanks
  4. Hike - square meter observations in the Forest - comparing biodiversity in a different setting
